Finding Some Light in the Dark
This photo was from the pattern and texture project. I chose this mainly because of the pattern of the window reflecting on the table. And because of the texture of the table surface. This was taken at my dad's house in the afternoon one day when I came home from school. I adjusted the natural light by opening and closing some curtains in the dining room. My favorite thing about this photo is the contrast between the dark and the light. The shadows and the highlights, in my opinion, is what sets the mood of this photo. |
Broken Light Bulb
This photograph was for the aperture project. I chose this exact photo because it has a main focus in the foreground where as the parts toward the background are out of focus. I admire the blue tint in this photo as well as the shadow and light coming in from the top right and top left corner. |
The Night Before Halloween
This photo was for the line and repetition project. I believe that this exemplifies that because both the vertical and horizontal lines do a great job of leading your eye throughout the piece. This was taken the night before Halloween, at my grandmothers house. In my opinion, there is a great contrast between the light and dark in this photo. |
